Bits & Pizzas opened its doors for the first time in December 1987 and still under its original ownership has thrived as a family friendly local restaurant ever since. Our philosophy then, as now, was to use the freshest ingredients to produce simple honest food with no shortcuts, in full view of our diners. We pride ourselves on the fact that we make all of our own dressings and desserts including homemade ice cream on the premises. Our menu revolves mostly around the humble pizza and although we continue to look for new toppings and combinations such as pesto with sun dried tomato, sweet chilli with prawns and Bar-B-Q sauce with chicken, the old favourites of pepperoni or ham and pineapple still remain popular. Many of our customers have been regular diners at Bits & Pizzas since they were children and are now bringing their own children, which has helped us to develop a very broad customer base. Depending on the time you arrive the atmosphere, although always friendly and buzzy, can be quite different. During lunchtime we cater mainly for the office market.
